INTRODUCING THE VOGELE ECOPLUS EMISSION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The operating philosophy behind the Vogele Premium Line pavers is "Lower Consumption – Lower Emissions – Lower Costs". The EcoPlus emissions reduction package combines a number of individual measures to reduce fuel consumption and noise levels to a significant degree. For Vogele, green is also the color of environmentally friendly technical innovations.
The innovative VÖGELE EcoPlus emission management system lowers noise and fuel consumption, with fuel savings of up to 25%.

Splined Auger Gearbox
When the paver is at a standstill, e.g. waiting for mix, all the hydraulic pumps for the traction drive, conveyors and augers, and the compacting systems are automatically disengaged. This function saves a considerable amount of fuel. It also reduces engine load when starting up at the beginning of the working day, especially in low ambient temperatures.
Optimized Tamper Drive
The tamper is driven by a variable-displacement pump. This delivers exactly the amount of oil needed for the tamper speed. No more, no less.
Controlled Hydraulic Oil Temperature
A hydraulic bypass circuit brings the hydraulic oil in the system to optimum operating temperature very quickly. This allows rapid, fuel-saving operation of the machine. The hydraulic oil is not allowed to flow through the cooler until it has reached an optimum temperature of 50 – 70 °C.
Variable-Speed Fan
The speed of the fan is controlled in accordance with engine load and ambient temperature. The fan is driven via a viscous coupling. Unlike hydraulic drives, this type has the advantage of a higher efficiency and much lower noise levels.
