A typical Wirtgen concrete paver consists of an engine, a mainframe that can be mechanically widened to the left and right for mounting paving molds between the crawler tracks, and a front-mounted crawler unit with four crawler tracks.

MAINFRAME

- Control panel 2: With a multi-function display for the operator, showing machine parameters and allowing adjustments through browser windows; this panel can be rotated in both travel and paving directions.

Two control panels can be stored in the engine compartment, while the third is protected from damage and weather by a lockable cover.
