INTRODUCTION TO PTSC QUANG NGAI'S DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY

The history of establishment and development of PTSC Quang Ngai includes the following main milestones:

- October 17, 1997: Established a branch of Petroleum Technical Services Company in Quang Ngai (Decision No. 1723/DK-HĐQT of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam). The head office is located at 111 Hung Vuong Boulevard, Quang Ngai city.

- June 13, 2002: The Board of Directors of Petrovietnam issued Decision No. 1160/QD-HĐQT on the establishment of Quang Ngai Petroleum Services Enterprise on the basis of reorganizing the Branch of Petroleum Technical Services Company in Quang Ngai. The head office is located at 307 Hung Vuong Boulevard, Quang Ngai city.

- March 19, 2007: The Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation issued Decision No. 35/QD – DVKT- HĐQT on the establishment of Quang Ngai Petroleum Services One Member Limited Liability Company on the basis of consolidating Quang Ngai Petroleum Services Enterprise. The head office is located at Lot 4H, Ton Duc Thang Street, Quang Ngai city.

- January 1, 2011: Converted the enterprise into PTSC Quang Ngai Oil and Gas Service Joint Stock Company (According to Decision No. 350/QD-DVKT-HĐQT dated December 17, 2010 of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation).

After more than 20 years of operation and development, PTSC Quang Ngai has now become a strong, reputable brand and trusted by domestic and foreign customers in the field of providing oil and gas services in the Vietnamese market and the region.

With positive contributions to the development of the country in general and Quang Ngai province in particular. Well performing the responsibilities of an enterprise in social security work for the community, PTSC Quang Ngai has been honored to be awarded the Third-class Labor Medal by the State (May 30, 2010); along with many certificates of merit and commendation from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, PTSC Corporation, Quang Ngai Province,...

Currently, PTSC Quang Ngai has been investing in developing and expanding Dung Quat Mechanical Workshop with an area of 80,000 m2 (Base for processing, manufacturing, installation,...) and safely and effectively managing Berth No. 1, No. 2 - Dung Quat Port (One of the 5 seaports with the largest capacity to receive ships in Vietnam) along with a team of skilled technical workers, a team of enthusiastic and creative managers and technical experts as a premise for the "SUSTAINABLE, STRONG and FAST" development of PTSC Quang Ngai in the coming time.

Port base & Logistics services

PTSC Dung Quat Port Berth No. 1 & 2 with a capacity of up to 35,000 tons per day and capable of receiving and handling 70,000 DWT vessels, PTSC Quang Ngai is one of the most flexible and diverse port and logistics service providers in Central Vietnam.

- PORT SERVICES: Berth services, warehouse & yard, cargo handling, weighing, lashing, tallying, packing, office leasing, equipment leasing.

- LOGISTICS: Road transport, sea transport, project cargo transport, customs declaration services, freight forwarding.

With modern cargo handling technology, full equipment and means to serve the work; always ready to mobilize, handle situations promptly, effectively and cost-effectively, PTSC Dung Quat Port is capable of handling a variety of goods including bulk cargo (wood chips, industrial salt, coal, clinker, logs, steel coils, soda...), bagged cargo (cement, fertilizer...), oversized and overweight equipment.

Transportation of goods, especially transportation of oversized and overweight equipment, is one of the strengths of PTSC Dung Quat Port. With experience in transporting project shipments for DOOSAN VINA Heavy Industry Company, Tan Mai Pulp Mill, VNT19 Pulp Mill, Dung Quat DQS Shipyard, Dung Quat Oil Refinery, Nghi Son Oil Refinery... Up to now, PTSC Dung Quat Port can receive shipments with the largest cargo weight up to more than 700 tons and the longest length up to 81 meters.

Tugboat and Oil and Gas Specialized Vessel Services

Owning more than 07 service vessels with capacity from 450 HP to 4750 HP along with more than 17 years of experience, PTSC Quang Ngai is currently a reputable company specializing in providing many marine services including providing service vessels with towing services, SPM & Jetty maintenance, oil spill response, stand-by services in Dung Quat Economic Zone in particular and Central Vietnam in general.

PTSC Dung Quat Port acts as a shipping agent for liner cargo ships and heavy cargo ships, liquid cargo ships, bulk carriers, drilling rigs, construction vessels... Since its establishment, PTSC Dung Quat Port has carried out agency work for hundreds of ships each year entering and leaving the port area. Since 2002, PTSC Quang Ngai has acted as the main contractor for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical One Member Limited Liability Company and Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited. They provide towing support services for all types and sizes of vessels such as tankers, container ships, bulk carriers, general cargo ships, passenger ships... The company has many years of experience supporting many ships entering and leaving the Dung Quat Port area to carry out maintenance and repair work at Dung Quat Shipyard, loading and unloading goods at the Port.

In addition, PTSC Dung Quat Port has met 100% of the tugboat services for crude oil tankers approaching the SPMs and Jetty Ports of Dung Quat Oil Refinery with more than 1,800 trips in and out each year. Carry out the connection of oil pipelines, ensuring 100% of oil tankers supplying crude oil to Dung Quat Oil Refinery in time. PTSC Quang Ngai is a reputable unit in providing this service in Vietnam. With extensive experience and expertise in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of Single Point Mooring (SPM) buoys, product export jetties (Jetty), we are committed to safe operation of oil import and export at SPMs. The company provides related services that require high expertise such as:

- Regular maintenance and monitoring of SPM mooring, maintenance of floating hoses and subsea hoses, pipeline systems.

- Diving support services and underwater works, including the provision of diving cylinders and ROV services.

Mechanical and construction services

Dung Quat Mechanical Workshop under PTSC Quang Ngai specializes in services, transportation, installation, connection, commissioning, repair, and dismantling of oil and gas works. We have provided services for many important projects of domestic and foreign contractors. Total area: 80,000 m2, office area: 300 m2, yard: 44,669 m2, mechanical workshop: 4,725 m2, warehouse: 7,650 m2.

Mechanical and construction services performed by PTSC Quang Ngai Company include: structure, electricity, piping, construction, equipment installation, pressure vessels, tanks, control.

Promoting the strengths of the PTSC brand, PTSC Quang Ngai in recent years has successfully implemented many large projects in Dung Quat Economic Zone:

- Central Biofuel Plant Project (90 million USD). EPC contractor for the Central Biofuel Plant with a capacity of 100 million liters/year

- Crude oil tank project (32 million USD). EPC contractor for 02 crude oil tanks with a capacity of 70,000m3 and 02 high sulfur pumps at Dung Quat Oil Refinery.

- Jetty product export terminal project (70 million USD). EPC contractor for the Jetty product export terminal at Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
